Once upon a time, 4 years ago our first niece was born…

Her party this year it was all about princesses, fairies, balloons, face painting & of course fairy bread

(with couple of superheros & race car drivers to balance it out)

I think she’s a bit cute, but of course I’m slightly bias

 

 

Last November my gorgeous nieces were Christenned, a perfect day, with the sun shining and set in a little bluestone church..

A few months ago I was invited to a gorgeous girl’s birthday party, Miss A was turning ONE!

Her heritage and family are from New Zealand, so when it was time to celebrate no better way than with a Maori Hangi

For a 1st Birthday, throw a couple of clowns into the mix, music & not forgetting a Miss A eating (or should I say enjoying!) her first ever chocolate/birthday cake.

Great to experience my 1st Hangi, and just to be there & be a part of it thanks guys, its been awesome watching Miss A grow up over the year.

 

Whilst my other half of Storytellers Photography was travelling Europe, the gorgeous Mandy from Relic Imagery 

hired me to join her photographing a wedding in Yarrawonga this June.

No giggles today, its with tears in our eyes we ask you to help us make a difference…
Its been a hard 2011 so far with floods, cyclones and now this devastating earthquake.

Christchurch holds a special place in Hyggelig’s heart, this is where Michael was born and raised.

Its been a long couple of days for some, and whilst all our family and friends are save at this time, we still feel helpless and want to assist in even a small way.

… You might recognize Mum to be as a regular client of Hyggelig Photography, we have followed her from the early stages of her pregnancy! Her final BIG maternity session is booked for next week, and cant wait! This weekend she had her baby shower… can you guess what she’s having?
