Its that time of year we like to go over our images from sessions held over the last 12 months and pick some that stood out to us as favourites.

So many to choose from! We’re  so lucky to have gorgeous clients, but we had to stay strong and stick to 25.

This also means its competiton time, vote for your favourite image in our comments here and the image with the most votes will win a copy printed on a 12×17 inch Panel Pop

a little story that made me happy & giddy...

I was lucky enough to meet Henry in April, an old Man by human and dog standards but still happy.

Unfortunately Henry passed on in June, but little did his Mum know that in a couple of months she would meet Poppy.

Poppy was born the same day Henry passed, not only just she look like him, but was found wandering the streets, picked up by a friend of her new family.

So it seems she was a perfect fit, and she absolutely adores Henry's old bed... Not only was she cute, but she loved my camera, so no bias from me  

Last year we started the tradtion of showcasing some of our favourite moments & photos from our sessions throughout the year.

We have decided to continue it this year, with bigger and better prizes!

Here goes  

Its never easy saying goodbye, my doggy mate Ollie the Staffy who belongs to a close friend, was put to sleep today.
Always mixed emotions, he was so sick but its hard to let go…

I was glad to make a visit and big drive to Mt Beauty to catch up with this awesome dude of a dog for one last time and capture some memories for his Dad…
So this combines my mixed joy of being able to photograph him yesterday and stuffing his belly full of treats! But sad to look at the images today knowing he’s no longer with us…
RIP lil mate…

If your furry animals are as big a part of your family like mine, you’ll understand how important it is to have some gorgeous portraits to keep!

Atticus is my baby, I delivered him into the world and have watch him grow up to be such a handsome young man! He is soo placid and is full of snuggles. When Ruth from Ruthless Leather & Photos said she was coming to town, I was more than happy to put my Atticus’ paw up as a model for one of her awesome collars! Make sure you check them out, handmade with leads or human cuffs to match!!! He did us proud, sat perfectly (in between quick spurts of ner ner ner im off lead your not to Scout)… Thanks again Ruth for inviting us down, and GREAT to finally meet you!!!

Nothing better than a Staffy smile to make your day!

Its no secret Staffies are close to our hearts, since we own 2 of them… Here is a family of 3 who are just as adorable…. helps that the lil one on the right is one of Scouts babies, still cant get over how much he looks like her!

If you wanted to look up the defination of adore, there would be a photo of my Staffies, their breed is reknown for being such people dogs… and my 2 are no exception… My dogs adore me, and I adore them… they are my furry babies… Cant help but share these couple while I’m working on the client gallery… I photographed a beautiful belly on Friday she didn’t stray far from me… and just wanted to be part of the fun !!

I’ve been a little slack updating the blog with my photo a day challenge.. so here goes!

10-1-10 Mail  -the furry babies got mail today, from their awesome vet Rhonda in the village… Looks like its jab season again! Family trip to the vet is in order with the 2 dogs and a cat… Mind you much easier than the 8 pups we had last time we scheduled a visit

11-1-10 Hot    - Yup that says 51 out and 32 in… and as I type (11:28pm) its 36 out and 34 in… The furry babies have all had a quick cold water rinse, much to their initial dismay… they seemed to understand eventually… maybe next summer we’ll have airconditioning…
