Hyggelig (pronounced Hew-Ger-ly) is a Danish term used to describe a moment or a feeling. Without a direct translation into English, the best example would be you know that moment that brings a happy sigh and big smile? Hyggelig Photography sets out to take those little Hyggelig moments in your life and create them into your own little piece of art. If you follow us on Facebook you will have seen a few updates, we’re excited to now be booking weddings!
While Janet has photographed weddings for 5 years, this will be a new adventure for Hyggelig Photography
 (… more info to come, but I’ll save that for another post)
 
Meanwhile we’ve also had another project brewing… while in a sense its about the same subject “Love / Elsker” but concentrating on the everyday…
Capturing that invisible link between you and your loved one, your laughter, your kisses… all those little moments that bring you back to who you are and whom you adore.
In an environment thats close to both your hearts, and represents everything about you as a couple.

Lucky me – Melbourne Baby & Family Photography

I say lucky me! Because I have 3 beautiful nieces…
1 of whom has grown A LOT in the last year, this was her first appearance on my website as a brand new babe.
Now she’s crawling, eating, clapping, squealing, drooling you name it with the best of them!
Love it and love that I get to capture it all  :)

Happy New Year 2012!
 
Its that time of year we like to go over our images from sessions held over the last 12 months and pick some that stood out to us as favourites.
So many to choose from! We’re  so lucky to have gorgeous clients, but we had to stay strong and stick to 25.
This also means its competiton time, vote for your favourite image in our comments here and the image with the most votes will win a copy printed on a 12×17 inch Panel Pop
Each voter goes into the draw to win 1 of 3 Hyggelig Photography credits for a 2012 session. (see below for conditions & further details)
