So its almost been a year since we braved (or should I say my gorgeous models braved) the snow for our styled shoot in some stunning Gwendolynne gowns. In May the awesome team from PolkaDot Bride featured a few images on their blog, now its our turn to pick our favourites. I was very lucky that I had some rad, local Innerwest Melbourne vendors on board that complimented the gowns with flowers, makeup/hair and jewellery, and close friend Katie create some capes to match.
On the way to the snow, between Buxton and Marysville there is a beautiful avenue of trees, which we had to pull over, dodge a few cars and have Manda work her magic. We timed it well to get to Lake Mountain as the crowds dispersed and had a lot of the snow coverage to ourselves. As the sun started to go down, so did the temperature, perfect timing for Liss’ fiance to join her for a couple of photos.
We didn’t get back to the snow this year for portraits, it really makes for a gorgeous change of scenery especially in the Australian climate. Next year how about you all join me for a series of mini shoots? For now enjoy these beautiful ladies, both fellow photographers and amazing Mummas who indulged me by dressing up all glamorous in freezing temperatures.
